A Group Journey: Destination – The Heroine Within with Lucinda Weis
Starting on Thursday 28 February for 6 weeks from 7.30pm – 9pm at The Well Being Centre, Stone Cross, Pevensey, BN24 5BS
Dates: Thursday 28 February 7, 14, 21 and 28 March and 4 April (7.30pm – 9.00pm)
Cost: £95 for all 6 sessions payable in advance
If you’re looking for a positive and uplifting experience during which you will journey (metaphorically and literally speaking) to find your heroic qualities and support others as they journey to find theirs, then this group might be for you. If you are looking for a chance to take time for yourself and really and truly give yourself self-care, then, again, this might be the group for you. If you want to delve deeper into who you are and reflect on your creative capacities, again, this group will tick the box.
This group for women running on a Thursday evening (7.30-9.00pm) over 6 weeks will invite you to go on a personal and shared journey with others – experienced through story, movement, games, artwork, sound and other forms of creative expression and reflection. As well as learning about yourself, and nurturing your body, mind and soul, participants can expect to have fun and leave with an enhanced sense of who they are.
Be prepared to be surprised, delighted and challenged!
Lucinda Weis is a registered creative arts therapist who has over 15 years’ experience of running creative workshops and providing one-to-one therapy to both children and adults. She is now based in Uckfield, where, when she isn’t working, she bakes mainly German cakes and biscuits, walks her ‘Velcro’ Shih Tzu, Daisy, and loves being amongst the trees – after nearly 6 years in almost tree-less Shetland!

However it is possible that as commitment to the group and the work deepens over the six weeks, personal emotional material may emerge which surprises or even unsettles the discloser or other group members.
