These workshops will empower you with skills to thrive, and an accessible toolbox of good habits to cultivate simply.

The workshops combine yogic techniques: including pranayama, meditation, asana, and yogic philosophy with evidence-based western psychological techniques to boost mood;calm and rejuvenate; release tension;improve focus and concentration and rest well for better overall health.

9am – 12.30pm- Relax and rejuvenate: let go

Yin yoga, empower yourself with information about the parasympathetic nervous system and ways to switch out of fight, flight and freeze mode into rest, heal, digest mode. Investment £25

1.30pm – 5pm- Good mood: rediscover your sparkle!

Boost positive energy with dynamic yoga to shift stuck energy, then arm yourself with knowledge about the gut-brain connection and simple ways to improve brain health for better mood £25

10am – 1.30pm – Sleep well: surrender to nourishing sleep

Start your Sunday gently: Learn how to support your circadian rhythms to help you slip off to the land of nod and stay there when you need to, and indulge in some lush restorative yoga. Emerge refreshed. £25

2.30pm – 4.30pm- Mindfulness for today

Finish the weekend with four ways of practising mindfulness: mindfulness of breathing; body scan meditation; moving meditation; and mindfulness of eating and explore seven attitudes of mindfulness to support your practice £15

 

Harriet Sciberras, psychologist and yoga teacher visiting from Sydney, Australia, presents these mind-body workshops. Informed by evidence-based practice in psychology and bringing together biology, nutrition, yoga and more to help youself-manage your mental health.
