SHINE! World Song Celebration

An informal and upbeat workshop, celebrating sacred songs from around the world in the beautiful Big Yurt at the The Well Being Centre. Universally spiritual rather than religious in theme, we will explore our connection to each other and to nature, singing songs of love, joy and empowerment from many different traditions. Included will be…
• some of my favourite pagan songs, short and sweet and sung in rounds
• mantras and chants from the yogic and Buddhist traditions
• Maori blessings and a beautiful Finnish lullaby
• simple percussion instruments for us to play as we sing
I am adding to my collection of songs and chants all the time so we’ll have plenty of choice. I will provide the words on printed sheets and we will learn by ear and repetition.
This workshop would suit anyone who loves to sing and those yet to find their voice. All are welcome here. Bring an open heart and a sense of humour.
