Yoga Retreats 2017 with Jan and Maria
Due to popular demand Jan and Maria are thrilled to be offering three more enchanting Full Day retreats and one morning throughout the summer. In addition, Jan is introducing two “me time mornings” if you are not sure if you can handle a full day of bliss!
Half day (10.00-13.00 or 14.15-17.00) options for the full day retreat dates may also be possible, subject to availability on request.

The FULL DAY retreats will begin at 10.00 with an introduction for the day, followed by a series of energising, Dru yoga sequences and postures. After a short tea break to enjoy some healthy organic teas, fruit and tempting snacks, you will be able to delight in the Dru yoga experience outside the yurt if we continue to be blessed with gorgeous weather. Maria’s innate wisdom and passion will encourage you to deepen your practise of pranayama and meditation and Jan will share and inspire you with the principles of Ayurveda to bring balance and health to your life.
We will provide more tasty, healthy snacks for lunch, but you may also like to bring your favourite yoga friendly foods too to enjoy “pic-nic” style in the grounds.
In the afternoon Maria will take you on the most tranquil guided meditative walk around the grounds of the yurt to bring a deeper connection with the earth, nature and the elements.
This beautiful energy will induce you into a blissful experience with Maria’s deliciously restorative yoga. A deeply relaxing sound bath with Jan will further soothe your soul and bring you to a place of inner stillness to complete your day of pure heaven leaving you feeling refreshed, energised and rejuvenated.
Cost: A £15 non-refundable deposit will secure your place with the balance of £45 two weeks before the retreat date above. Or take advantage of our early bird offer and pay just £55 in full at least one month before this date.
Me Time Mornings with Jan
Energise your body – relax deeply – experience stillness of the mind.
The inspiration for this is to offer you a truly restorative space to take time just for yourself at the end of a busy week. Often our free time is taken up with the general demands of life, commitments to others and social media distractions. This prevents us from consciously connecting with our own needs, deeper desires and true nature, thus receiving the complete rest and rejuvenation that is needed. During the 8 years that Jan has been teaching, endless students have commented on the value of the Dru yoga energy block release (EBR) sequences, postures, parayama, meditation and deep relaxation that magically provide this restorative and lasting experience.
Me Time Mornings will commence at 9.30 with energising yoga sequences (suitable for all) pranayama and deep relaxation. We will break at 10.45 to enjoy some organic teas and healthy snacks.
The second session will begin with a short meditative walk to connect more deeply with the healing elements of nature before returning to the yurt to experience the value of some deeply restorative postures, Yoga Nidra and meditation concluding at 12.30. You are welcome to bring a light lunch to enjoy at the yurt and countryside up until 13.15 if you wish to indulge for a little longer!
