Shine! Chanting Tea with Brenda Bruzon

An informal and upbeat workshop celebrating sacred songs from around the world, combined with a tasty wholefood tea and set in the beautiful Big Yurt and natural surroundings of The Well Being Centre, Stone Cross.
Universally spiritual rather than religious in theme, we will explore our connection to each other and to nature, singing songs of love, joy and empowerment from many different traditions. Included will be…
• English-language pagan songs, short and sweet and sung in rounds
• mantras and chants from the yogic and Buddhist traditions
• Maori and Hawaiian blessings and a beautiful Finnish lullaby
• simple percussion instruments for us to play as we sing
Words will be provided on printed sheets and we’ll learn the songs by ear and repetition, relaxing and laughing together, campfire style.
And midway through we will be sharing a tasty wholefood vegetarian tea with a selection of cakes and snacks and nutritious ‘shivananda’ cookies.
Our Chanting Tea would suit anyone who loves to sing and those yet to find their voice. All are welcome here. Bring an open heart and a sense of humour.
